The 2016\/17 season has been one of mixed fortunes. Our growers in some regions have enjoyed favourable conditions which mean they\u2019re on track for harvests in line with expectations.<\/p>\n
But last winter in eastern Europe was a harsh one, which has impacted our red fruit and vegetable growers. Because of frost and cold temperatures continuing into the spring, it looks likely yields will be lower than anticipated in crops like strawberries, blackcurrants and sour cherries.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s still too early to predict exactly what the impact of recent weather conditions will be, but our agronomy team is keeping an eye on the situation.
